Setup package
Tax-Ready in 14 Days
Two weeks from now, your invoicing runs itself, your expenses are categorized, and you know what you owe. Fixed price, fixed scope, and a guarantee that makes it hard to lose.
Most service businesses don't have an accounting problem. They have a systems problem that turns into an accounting problem every March. Invoices go out late. Follow-ups don't happen. Receipts pile up in a truck console. None of that is a character flaw, the systems were never set up in the first place.
This package sets them up. Once, properly, in two weeks.

The guarantee
If I don't find you more in missed deductions than this package costs, you don't pay for it.
I can offer that because it's rarely close. Businesses running on spreadsheets and shoeboxes almost always have deductions they never claimed, mileage, home office, software subscriptions, equipment they expensed wrong. Finding them is the easy part of this job.
CONFIRM YOU CAN STAND BEHIND THIS. It's a strong guarantee and it should be. Decide in advance: what exactly counts as "found," over what period, and what the refund process is. Put those terms in your engagement letter so there's never an argument. If you'd rather start softer, "tax-ready in 14 days or you don't pay" is easier to adjudicate. How the two weeks go
- 01Day 1, the call
Twenty minutes. How you bill, who owes you what, where things currently live. I'll tell you honestly if you don't need this.
- 02Days 2-3, you hand it over
Bank access, whatever records exist, however messy. There's no version of this where I judge the shoebox.
- 03Days 4-10. I build it
Software configured, accounts structured, prior-year expenses cleaned up and categorized, invoicing and reminders switched on.
- 04Days 11-14, handoff
We walk through it together until you can run it yourself. You get the tax estimate, the deadline calendar, and a written summary of what changed.
After the setup
Plenty of people take the system and run it themselves from here. That's a legitimate outcome and I'd rather you do that than pay me for something you don't need.
If you'd rather not think about it again: monthly bookkeeping is $300/month, transactions categorized, accounts reconciled, a monthly statement you can actually read, and a note from me about anything that looks off. Month to month, cancel whenever.
Who this isn't for
I'd rather say this up front than waste your time on a call:
- Businesses with significant inventory. You need a different setup and probably different software. I'll point you in the right direction, but I'm not the right person to build it.
- Large or complex payroll. More than a handful of employees and you want a firm with a dedicated payroll practice.
- Anyone hoping to backdate or reclassify what already happened. I'll help you fix a mess honestly. I won't help you hide one.
Start here
A 20-minute call, free, no pitch. Tell me what your business does, how you bill, and what's currently a mess. If the answer is that you need an afternoon and the free checklist rather than a paid engagement, I'll tell you that.
Disclosure: I'm a FreshBooks partner. When I set a client up on FreshBooks I earn a referral commission, and the 90% discount above is passed to you through that partnership at no extra cost. I recommend it because it's what I set my own clients up on, and I say plainly where QuickBooks is the better choice. Full disclosures.
