New York LLC and corporation filings
Filed in as little as 36 hours.
LLC or corporation, New York State, with your EIN the same day. Flat fee, government costs at cost.
Pick your speed
Three timelines. Same work.
5 to 7 days
For a launch date rather than a deadline.
3 to 5 days
Fast enough for a bank appointment or a signed lease.
Under 36 hours
For the contract that needs an entity before signing.
Every timeline includes the identical filing, EIN, entity guide, calendar, and books setup. You choose the speed inside the form, once you have told me what you are forming, and the running total updates as you go. Starts at $399.
The newspaper requirement
New York makes every new LLC publish a formation notice in two county-assigned newspapers, once a week for six weeks. Corporations are exempt from it entirely.
It is required by law, and it is not included in my fee. You have two honest options: handle it yourself by contacting the papers your county clerk designates, or add it below and I run the whole thing including the certificate filing.
Most filing services stay quiet about this until after checkout, which is how a four-figure invoice arrives from a newspaper you have never heard of. I would rather you see it now and decide.
Read the requirement on the NY Department of State sitePublication service, optional
Newspaper and state costs are passed through at cost, with receipts. Cost varies by county, and Queens sits below Manhattan and Brooklyn. Skip this and you still hold the obligation, which stays curable at any time with no penalty.
What every package includes
- Articles filed with New York StateSubmitted exactly as you direct them, on the timeline you picked.
- Your EIN, usually within the hourFree from the IRS. The fee covers obtaining it correctly and immediately, and never asking for your Social Security number through a web form.
- The entity decision kitA plain-English comparison of how LLCs, S-corps, and C-corps are taxed, plus a checklist. You choose. If the choice turns on liability or partners, that is a lawyer question and I will say so.
- Your year-one filing calendarEvery federal, state, and city deadline that applies to you, including the 120-day publication window.
- Books that work from day oneFreshBooks configured for your trade, with 90% off your first six months. That discount alone is worth $232.
How it runs
Tell me
Name, address, who is on it, what the business does. A short form or a phone call, whichever you prefer.
I check
Your name choices go against the state database. You get the result and the exact all-in quote before anything is filed.
I file
Articles submitted, EIN obtained, Form 2553 filed if you elected S-corp.
You open
Documents, EIN letter, bank guidance, and every deadline for the year ahead.
When you should not hire me
- You have an afternoon and some patienceNew York's filing portal is public and the EIN is free at IRS.gov. You can absolutely do this yourself and keep my fee. What you buy from me is that I do it daily and will not miss the publication deadline.
- You need an operating agreement negotiatedThat is legal drafting and it belongs with an attorney. I will refer you to one, and stay on the filing and tax side where I belong.
- Your structure is genuinely complicatedMultiple entities, outside investors, foreign owners. You want a lawyer and a CPA, not a fast filing service.
Ready when you are.
Tell me what you are building and I will send back the whole number, not the teaser. No subscription, nothing that auto-renews, nothing to cancel later.
